CEDEF ON ,,9TH E-MOBILITY SYMPOSIUM“

CEDEF as an organization dedicated to sustainability was the participant in the ,,9th E-Mobility Symposium" , one of the oldest professional conferences in the field of e-mobility. Some of the state-of-the art solutions in this field from several European countries were presented. The Symposium was organized by Emobility.si and Primož Lemež, and was opened by the State Secretary of the Ministry Environment, Ivan Karić.  President of CEDEF prof. doc Ana Bovan led a panel discussion on ,,Business opportunities in the field of e-mobility" with Jovanka Atanacković, State Secretary of the Ministry of Mining and Energy and General Secretary of the Serbian Association of Importers of Vehicles and their parts, Aleksandra Graovac.

CEDEF WEB PANEL: TECHNOLOGY AND ESG GOALS

Together with the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce AHK Serbia, CEDEF organised a web panel „Technology and ESG goals“. Darko Budeč, the founder and CEO of BUCK Lighting, Bojan Grujički, the CEO of Viessmann and Ivan Smiljković, a Member of the Executive Board of ProCredit Bank, all shared their experiences and company examples of good practice. The panel aimed to showcase how ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria are realistically applied through business policy, and concrete products and technologies. Their consistent application, which is not a mere proclamation, realistically raises general standards in these areas and even exceeds some of them. A close connection with the innovativeness of companies that have numerous awards and patents under their belt has been observed.

CEDEF WEB PANEL: CLEAN ENVIRONMENT AS A DEVELOPMENT FACTOR

CEDEF has a long tradition of participation in the multi-congress Serbian Visions. This year, CEDEF held the web panel Clean Environment as a Development Factor in which the panellists presented their leading global and regional companies: Bojana Milutinović, Special Advisor for Sustainable Business Development, ElixirGroup, Dušan Babić, Safety, Health and Environment Manager, Henkel and Ivan Barać, Facility, environment, health and safety manager, Beverage Packaging EMEA, Ball Corporation. Moderator: Anđela Gajić, CEDEF. The expert panel discussion highlighted the increase in the application of tangible and complex measures and technologies used by companies to preserve a clean environment. The panel displayed examples of how these measures and technologies affect the sustainable development of companies, as well as the economy as a whole. Respect for regulations but also awareness of companies has become an integral part of their missions and concrete plans, which is a prerequisite for sustainable development and clean environment preservation.

CEDEF WEB PANEL: TOWARDS CIRCULAR ECONOMY - WASTE CIRCULATION

Over a decade, CEDEF has been participating in EUSEW – European Sustainable Energy Week. This year, CEDEF has also contributed to the EUSEW with the web panel titled: Towards Circular Economy – Waste Circulation, with leading experts: Dragan Rajkovic, Regional manager for sustainable development for Europe and Central Asia at Tetrapak company, and Predrag Nenin, Quality and environmental protection manager at Dijamant company. Moderator: Ana Bovan, PhD, President, CEDEF. The highly professional and informative discussion has showcased the ways the companies reuse their waste, revealed how to prevent waste production, pointed out the specifics of the food industry regarding the circular economy, and highlighted the benefits of waste reuse as well as the future of the circular economy.

CEDEF WEB PANEL: THE GREEN OFFICE AND HYBRID WORK – WHAT’S NEXT?

 

CEDEF held another web panel in October The green office and hybrid work – what’s next? with international experts:

Moderator: prof. Ana Bovan, PhD, president, CEDEF. Panel was focused on the impact of hybrid work on green office strategies, office work and office space transformation in the future. Useful for future green strategies.

CEDEF WEB PANEL: REALISTIC CLIMATE MEASURES FOR POLICY AND BUSINESS

In March 2021. was held CEDEF web panel Realistic climate measures for policy and business with the directors of leading companies in the field of energy efficiency and Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA). CEDEF WEB PANEL: CLIMATE CHANGE, ENERGY TRANSITION AND THE PANDEMIC

In February 2021. was held CEDEF web panel Climate change, energy transition and the pandemic. Special guest was the State secretary of the Ministry for Environmental Protection of RS, Ivan Karić. Participants were:

CEDEF RESEARCH: THE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING OF THE EMPLOYEES IN SERBIAN ECONOMY

One of CEDEF’s crucial programme areas, which is also one of the SDGs of the United Nations, is Quality Education. At the beggining of 2020, the CEDEF Councel reached a decision to begin a research in lifelong learning area. It was conducted in the period between March and June 2020, and it is a part of CEDEF’s multiannual project: “Leaders of Sustainable Development“.

CEDEF EDUCATION PROJECT 2017-2019: ON A MISSION WITH THE YOUNG - TRAININGS HELD FOR 15,000 TWEENS AND TEENS

Within the scope of its educational activities during the period from 2017 to 2019, CEDEF, in cooperation with the City of Belgrade, the Secretariat of Energy of the City of Belgrade and Stonicom, held educational lectures on the topics of Energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, for more than 15 000 students.

PRAGUE, P.A.C.E. CONFERENCE: LOBBYING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, MAY 2019

The president of CEDEF, Prof. Ana Bovan, gave a speach on the annual conference of the European lobbyists that is traditionally organized by the Public Affairs Community of Europe (PACE), which was held in May 2019 in Prague. Bovan has been an active member in the Community for many years. She had spoken on the topic of the new Lobbying Law in Serbia, reputation of lobbyists, as well as the mutual exchange of experiences with multiple national associations across Europe that contributes to development and new regulations.

CEDEF EDUCATION: “NEW LOBBYING LAW – THE REPRESENTATION OF INTERESTS IN SERBIA “SPECIALIST EDUCATION ON LOBBYING FOR BUSINESS, PUBLIC AND CIVIL SECTOR.

CEDEF organized and conducted a specialist education on the topic of lobbying in december 2019: “New lobbying law – how to represent interests in Serbia“. The main focus of the programme was a presentation of the new Law on Lobbying, which was passed by the National Assembly in 2018. The lecture was given by Prof. Ana Bovan, the president of CEDEF, and the visiting lecturer was Mr Nenad Vukovic, attorney and president of the Serbian Lobbysts Association.
