IV CEDEF Convention – Čačak

CEDEF organized IV Convention in Čačak as a part of the Annual CEDEF Programme for the cities and municipalities in Serbia - LEADERS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2015. Around 200 participants from 30 local governments attended the session, where over 250 infrastructure projects and projects in the field of energy efficiency, use of renewable energy and environmental protection were presented.

Upon completion of the plenary session, during the next 2 hours, representatives of municipalities, potential funders and partner companies held more than 100 direct meetings. One of the goals of this conference is to gather representatives of municipalities and cities, or project holders with funders and providers of technology - 9 leading local and international companies: Telekom Srbija, Minel Schreder, Miteco, Knauf Insulation, Naue Opticus, Banca Intesa, DDOR Novi Sad, Viessmann and LG. In that way the capacities of the municipalities and cities, public utilities and public institutions in Serbia are highlighted in order to, with responsible and decisive leadership, lead to competitive and sustainable cities that will offer better quality of life and raise the standard of living of all citizens.
