Since the establishment of MEMS, CEDEF organised a series of trainings and study tours for members of Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS. In cooperation with companies in Serbia and the region that are known for their latest technological solutions and products, we organised professional trainings in the field of energy efficient construction, heating and cooling, energy utilities. Members of MEMS are therefore given an additional opportunity to acquire specialized knowledge and more insight into optimal solutions to the challenges faced in their cities, municipalities and public utility companies.

CEDEF training
CEDEF AND CERESIT ORGANISED A TRAINING FOR ENERGY MANAGERS SERBIA ON WORLD ENERGY EFFICIENCY DAY
On March 5th 2014, ‘World Energy Efficiency Day’ – Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, in cooperation with CERESIT, organised a training for members of the Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, which took place in CERESIT’s factory for the production of adhesives in Inđija. The training was attended by 30 participants, energy managers, who had the opportunity to learn all about CERESIT program, applied innovative technologies in isolation facilities, as well as products CERESIT offers as valuable solutions to increase EE and additional savings. Energy managers were able to hear more about the requirements, content and method of issuing certificates regarding the energy performance of buildings - “Energy Passport". Furthermore, energy managers gained knowledge of the best practices and sources of financing in EE and RES projects, based on the many years of experience of CERESIT, as well as concrete examples of the savings by using technical solutions for thermal insulation systems – Etics and Ceretherm. The practical examples of the application of thermal imaging cameras, thermal imaging measurements, diagnostics and energy saving measures have caused a lot of attention among the trainees.

CEDEF AND VIESSMAN TRAINING FOR ENERGY MANAGERS IN THE INDUSTRY
Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, organised a training for energy managers and other experts responsible for energy efficiency in companies, in cooperation with leading international company in the field of thermal energy in the food industry and heating systems– VIESSMANN. The training was organised in November2013 in Vrbas.
The training was the right place for companies in need of modernization equipment or want to implement new equipment and systems such as:
- Manufacturers of hot water
- Manufacturers of steam / Steam Boilers
- Boilers for utilization of waste heat from flue gases
- Cogeneration modules
- Heating systems to wood
- The combustion plants on wood
- Large heat pumps
- Solar thermal systems
- Photovoltaic systems generate electricity by solar energy

CEDEF AND VIESSMANN ORGANISED A TRAINING FOR ENERGY MANAGERS
Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, in cooperation with VIESSMANN, organised a training for members of the Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, which was held in November 2013 in the premises of VIESSMANN in Belgrade.
The training program included:
- Viessmann program, the most useful solutions for application of renewable energy sources (solar systems, heat pumps), as well as improving EE
- The results achieved in the implemented projects and facilities of local governments using the solutions in the domain of renewable energy as obvious indicators of successful application of Viessmann technology and knowledge
- Analysis of selected practical examples with interactive discussion
- Presentation of the Viessmann program for fast calculation of energy modernization of buildings with real data in a live broadcast
- Innovative concepts and techniques heating in the EU and Serbia until 2030 - a step into the future

CEDEF European Sustainable Energy Week
EUSEW - EUROPEAN WEEK OF SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
Every year, the European Union dedicates a week to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions, EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW). Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, is actively involved in promoting the Sustainable Energy Week and has organised a number of events and energy days in Serbia and Macedonia. One of these events is training for energy managers in cooperation with company LG Electronics.

CEDEF AND LG ACADEMY FOR MEMS
Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, in cooperation with LG Electronics organised a very successful training for members of the Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, which was held in the premises of "LG ELECTRONICS". Particular emphasis was on providing the necessary information and knowledge that can greatly facilitate the selection of systems and equipment that best fit the requirements of the projects of local governments. The training presents examples of completed projects and facilities in Serbia, as well as the results of the application of HVAC systems, various lighting technologies and applications of modern white and brown products techniques.

CEDEF AND VAILLANT TRAINING FOR ENERGY MANAGERS
CEDEF in collaboration with Vaillant, organised another training for members of Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, in order to present the latest trends and technologies in Europe in terms of using renewable energy to representatives of cities and municipalities, local and regional administrations and governments, as well as energy managers of companies who are responsible for the implementation of EE and greater use of RES.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY DAY - MUNICIPALITY VARVARIN
CEDEF celebrated Energy Efficiency Day in the municipality Varvarin on February 25th 2013. After the ceremony, there was a meeting of the Action Committee MEMS where the criteria for selection of members of the Action Committee were discussed.

CEDEF AND LG ACADEMY FOR MEMS
CEDEF in cooperation with LG Electronics organised a training for representatives of the Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, on June 25th 2012 in Belgrade. Fifteen members of the Network Energy Managers Serbia participated the training at the LG Academy. The LG Academy was founded in 2010, and is fully operating since September 2011.

FIRST SUMMIT ENERGY MANAGERS
CEDEF organised the first Summit of Energy Managers Serbia since the establishment of Network Energy Managers Serbia, MEMS, in cooperation with the Agency for Energy Efficiency of the Republic of Serbia, Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources AP Vojvodina and municipality Vršac. The Summit was attended by more than 400 representatives of cities, local governments, public utilities and industry.

CEREMONY UNDP CERTIFICATION FOR ENERGY MANAGERS
CEDEF and the city of Belgrade organised a ceremony to hand over certificates of UNDP - United Nations Development Program to energy managers, cities and municipalities in Serbia who have successfully passed this program.

CEDEF, UNDP CROATIA AND REHAU ORGANISED EDUCATION IN CROATIA ON ENERGY MANAGEMENT IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
CEDEF organised a study trip to Osijek for ten energy managers from cities and municipalities in Serbia. In Osijek, they participated in formal education projects of UNDP Croatia for energy advisors at the local level. The first part of the project training was held from February 28th to March 2nd 2011, while the second part of the training was organised from 9-10 March 2011.
