At the opening session, participants were refered by dr. Sinisa Mali, mayor of Belgrade, Igor Mirović, president of the Provincial Government, Svetozar Krstic, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce of City of Belgrade and prof. dr Ana Bovan, president of the Central European development forum, which was officially opened on economic and business meetings with more than 600 guests from 300 companies. Investors from over 20 countries were informed about 900 projects. This forum puts the emphasis on the development of entrepreneurial spirit and investment in small and medium - sized enterprises. Opening the forum "Belgrade Investment Days", Sinisa Mali said that this event is being held in an exciting time in the development of the capital, what he said, has not been seen in the past three decades. “Belgrade, which you see today is vastly different from Belgrade, which you could see only three years ago, and, dare I say, and only an announcement of what will be for two, three or five years.” The President of the Central European development forum, CEDEF, prof. dr Ana Bovan, said that the trust and the big jobs are back to Belgrade investment map of Europe. "Investment means trust and confidence which are base for the future friendship. We are here to do something concrete, and the City of Belgrade for the second time on this forum has presented great ideas", said Ana Bovan.
The conference is organized in 6 panels, Infrastructure and investment projects of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade Projects - Investment potentials, Investment Potentials of Vojvodina and local self-government, improving the business environment and entrepreneurship, Successful examples of domestic and foreign investment in the Republic of Serbia. At the second day of Investment forum also were held B2B meetings, where representatives of the company and representatives of the project had the opportunity to cooperate in order to implement projects.

5th of July 2016, in Belgrade

The Climate Panel of Serbia, CEDEF’s initiative for improving consciousness about climate changes keeps its mission for faster usage of measures and instruments in order to decrease big changes. CEDEF has organized one more Climate Panel and the participants were: Filip Abramović, from Secretariat for Environmental Protection of the City of Belgrade , Prof. dr Aleksandar Jovović in front of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Lazar Krnjeta director of PU KOMDEL, Miroslav Spasojević, Serbia and the EU Expert of Energy and Environmental Protection and Sandra Kamberović general secretary of Hrabri čistač. Special issue of discussion was dedicated to the biggest project on this subject in Serbia, Vinca in Belgrade. Plans were presented which Belgrade has in relation with advanced waste management and including primary separation. In context of numerous challenges that local municipalities come across, also industry and citizens, examples were given about good practical technical solutions used in Serbia.

23 - 24 June 2016, Niš

Business Forum of South Serbia is new Central European Development Forum investment - development program which encourages investments in Central and South Serbia. New and unique platform for cooperation started in “YEAR OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP” and tends to become traditional.The first meeting was held on 23 - 24 June 2016 in Niš and realized in cooperation with the City of Niš, Club of entrepreneurs Niš with general sponsorship of Telekom Serbia company and Dunav Osiguranje support.

23 April 2016 Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade

CEDEF- Central European Development Forum in cooperation with their partners, on the occasion of April 22 - Earth Day, organized on 23 April in the hall of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade Conference Climate panel of Serbia on the topic: Waste and wastewater in Serbia. The Climate panel of Serbia is dedicated to monitoring the results of COP21, and represents the attitude that ratification of the Paris Agreement by all signatory is necessary as soon as possible. Ministry, Agencies, Universities, Local governments, civil society and media have pointed out what are practical measures that should be implemented in the realization of the Agreement.

21. March 2016, Belgrade

French Embassy in Serbia and CEDEF organized the conference Air Pollution: Local response to the fight against climate change. The conference gathered representatives of local government, state agencies, non-governmental sector and experts from both France and Serbia. Conference was opened by H.E. Christine Moro, French ambassador in Serbia and Prof. dr Ana B. Bovan, president of Central European Development Forum CEDEF.

Central European Development Forum, CEDEF, Novi Sad Fair and Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources of the AP Vojvodina organised the International Energy and Investments Days, that was held in Novi Sad from 10th to 11th March 2016.
